I know you can do this with quicksilver but I can’t be bothered to work it out.

SizzlingKeys is genius. apple+alt+right arrow changes the song, the back arrow goes back a song, the up and down changes the itunes volume. Ctrl+space pauses/plays and opens itunes. I seriously can’t live without it! Now to get hooked on quicksilver!

That sounds pretty cool. :) Quicksilver is pretty handy when you don’t feel like going through your applications folder to find something. I rarely use it though. :( Sizzling Keys sounds like a pretty convenient application to have when you’re lazy though. :)

I use quicksilver now and it’s pretty useful once you get used to it.
Does SizzlingKeys work when itunes is in the background? If it does then I will definitely have to check it out as I was looking for something similar for a while, although the ctrl + space will have to be changed as that’s what I use for quicksilver. :p

Wow, that’s all confusing to me! I guess it’s because I don’t have/have never used a Mac…

So I installed SizzlingKeys and got pissed off because it wouldn’t let me change the ctrl + space hotkey, so I decided to change the hotkey in quicksilver instead … at which point I worked out how to control itunes with quicksilver and it also works with itunes in the background. Awesome. About to uninstall SizzlingKeys now. :p
FYI: Right click on the quicksilver icon in dashboard and go to triggers and set the itunes from there. It also doesn’t have the annoying popups SK seemed to have.

I once had sizzling keys on my mac but i could have sworn it installed some sort of audio drivers and my speakers have never been as quiet as they are now.

but then again i installed a program called perian the same day which i looked over and it had a lot of drivers, and i took it off my mac and my speakers still haven’t been the same. so i took sizzling keys off too.

its a really neat app tho. i had f1 as skip f2 as play/pause and f3 as skip, oh it was so handy for me :)

This only makes me wish I had a Mac even more.

I’ve heard that quicksilver is quite cool. Wish I could try it out. Oh, to be stuck on Windows…

I noticed you changed the design between now and the last time I dropped by. Neat! This design is so clean.

Yeah, I used SizzlingKeys for quite some time until I discovered Quicksilver. Quicksilver is an awesome little app, I would use it no less than 10-15 times AN HOUR. Only takes a few days to get used to it. I am yet to discover the advanced power of Quicksilver yet though.
