New layout! Its much nicer than my old one as its so clean. I haven’t decided if I’m going to move the theme switcher over yet, it took me 2 weeks to make a layout I like, now that its all done and dusted I want a break from the internet. Which is where my need for inspiration comes in.
I’ve not taken any photos for a while, every time I do their of the same thing, flowers. Flowers are great, they sit still and they don’t complain when you don’t ‘capture their beauty’. Their very patient models. Unlike myself. I tend to be hard to focus on and time consuming, though things have been greatly sped up with the use of a remote I’ve found it difficult to come up with ideas significantly different to those that have already been done.
This is where you lot come in! Your all creative, you know you are. So I would like some suggestions for new photoshoot’s, it can be anything! If you have anything that inspires you, link me! I need their creativity!
I also need you all to talk me out of buying the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II.
The pros.
- Its cheap
- Its light
- Its MUCH smaller than my lenses at the moment – their both huge!
- It has a large aperture so there’s plenty of light so no flash is needed for indoor photography
- All its counterparts are ridiculously expensive, the one I want the 50mm 1.2 is $1,359.95!! and according to everything I’ve read the difference in image quality is not that noticible! (least not for a 350D)
The cons.
- I already have a 50mm lens, the EFS 18-55mm but its been bothering me recently both with its size and the quality of images
- It doesn’t have a USM motor – my Canon EF-S 60 mm – f/2.8 USM Macro Lens is the smoothest thing to focus ever! but with the EF you do get a nice sense that its doing something!
Seems I’m listing things just to convince myself to buy it! We’ll see! I need some inspiration first!
Love the new layout, it’s very clean! I like that in layouts. I was planning to make photo’s as well, but my camera is old (only 3mp!) so yeah I need to buy a new one.
