Its made by Microsoft, it supports DRM, it means something rude in another language and it comes in Brown, but I still want one. A Zune.
My 3rd generation 40gig ipod has more or less given up on life so I’m in need of a new mp3 player but I just don’t like the new ipods. Their all case and not enough screen, but other than the new ipod’s there’s strikingly little choice for a 40gig and up mp3 player. I say mp3 because I’m not really interested in watching movies/tv shows. If I have a clip I want to ’share with friends’ it goes on facebook or my phone.
I’ve been doing some research and other than the Zune the only other viable option (for me) is the Zen Vision W but its all orientated on media which isn’t what I want. Even if the CF slot is mightily handy. I suspect its also massive - not something I could easily carry around. The price also leaves alot to be desired.
All this leaves me with the Zune. I’m sure with some ‘creative tweaking’ it can be made to behave itself and my music library does need a clear out and as it happens I quite like the colour brown.
So its just my luck that MsDanielle’s Blog Site is running a competition to win a 30gig Zune - Here’s hoping its brown!

I think the zune is too big. But I quite like the screen and the graphics and the interface used with it. It’s fun.
I do inface like the new iPods though. I got the 8gig red nano and I love it. I had the white video right before that and it was sweet. It looks awesome and works perfectly. No flaws. And it’s not thick as hell, so it’s easy to carry around.
