This weekend was Lounge on the Farm. It really was a farm! Poor cows!

I only went on the Sunday mainly because I wanted a lie in on Saturday and secondly I’m really rather poor at the moment! (My first paycheck wont get me out of the red :S!) Still I’m glad I went!

I’d not even heard of it until the new man, (I should come up with a comic name for him….Ruffles, lol - you’ll understand when you see the hair!) mentioned he was going. He was camping though and after having to use the portaloo out of sheer desperation I’m SO glad I’m never ever camping at a festival again!

I’m not very good with bands and names and such, so I didn’t know who we were listening too until I recognised a few of the songs. We saw Natty, Shortwave Set, The bees and The coral I have to say I was very impressed! I was dancing around in my Straw Hat (to blend in) like a looney!

etc etc. From now on I’m not going to apologise for being a lazy ass blogger! In actual fact I’m a pretty damned busy blogger!

I wont bother going into detail about the second week of florida, its not very interesting. We saw an alligator, went to Sea World, Busch Gardens and Epcott. Stayed in a different house and then one night at Disneys Caribbean resort, which really isn’t that great!

Since then however I’ve been so busy this is in fact the only chance I’ve had to sit down for a night in front of the tv!

I flew back on the Monday, picked up the cats, had a nap then the next day I drove back to Kent. I unpacked then spent about oh 20 minutes trying to work out the new TV my new housemate has set up. There’s five remotes!

Its a beastly setup though! 6:1 surround sound, HD 32″ tv, ps3 (ew), my wii (yay!), freeview (at the time) and now Sky! Not what you’d expect for students!

I also met up with someone who I’d met with just before going away to florida. We went for a nice pub dinner. Drove past the pub twice though lol! Finally I’ve found someone whose almost as fussy an eater as I am! (and oh so cute :D)

So I now have a new man (facebook is law don’t you know) and also a new job!

I’m officially a Webdeveloper! Which sounds a lot more exciting than it is! I basically spend all day messing around with websites asking stupid questions because for some reason I’ve forgotten all the simple things to do with webdesign! ah well.

I’m loving it! My first day I was a bit nervous but I’ve settled in really well! In fact I’ve pretty much made myself at home! I was a bit unsure what to do at lunch times at first. Where I used to work well lunchtimes were…awkward!

I met up with my housemate for lunch the first day then I sort of wandered round the shops aimlessly, now however I bring in my sandwich (Dairy Free) and watch Loose Women with the cat at lunch time. I bet they think I’m a bit weird! oh well.

Today is only my 5th day but today I was entrusted with some new projects! I’d been working on a site that pretty much allows you to do anything graphic wise. Which is nice but I’m craving a nice boring website now!

I was also left alone in the office, which was good because I usually play my ipod on shuffle and its embarrassing when there’s other people there to hear it! I probably got more work done too because for some reason I get embarrassed about designing with other people around!

I now have plans to finally develop canteatanything.com! w00t. Just gotta find time now!
