The friday after my second exam I went to Broadstairs with some mates. Its a really nice beach.
I pretty much lay in the sun all day - I refused to go in the sea, my god was it cold, thats the English Channel for you! There was no way I was wobbling around in a bikini playing volleyball or football!

We had to get two replacement balls - one George stood on and it exploded and the other Mat sat on and it kind of, gave birth lol. Its lining (a balloon) came out like a tumour from between the stitches - was quite creepy actually - still we got a free replacement, twice and we still (As far as I’ve heard) have one thats still whole! Just so long as nobody plays with it!

I got some pretty good action shots of the um action lol

I’ve never sunbathed properly on a British beach before! I’m all about the tropics :)

If your in the UK you may or may not have heard of Radio One’s big weekend. Its basically a free concert with various acts. It has to be free because its organised by the BBC. Which is funded by our licence fees making it advertisement free.

I was lucky enough to get tickets for the Saturday. From what I’ve read hardly anyone in Maidstone received tickets, even the ones who were most inconvenienced - ie had hoards of people walking up and down their nice road littering and generally being disgusting. Seriously how hard is it to carry with you some rubbish to put into a bin. The grass was disgusting by the end of the day - the people on the Sunday will be sitting in old bits of food and god knows what else.

But still - it was amazing. I didn’t think I’d like it at all - I was wrong! :P Saturdays line up was as follows: Madonna, Usher, The Fratellis, Scouting For Girls, Duffy, The Feeling, Robyn, The Hoosiers, Editors, The Futureheads, Guillemots, We Are Scientists, Foals, Vampire Weekend, Paramore, The Ting Tings, Fatboy Slim, Eddie Halliwell, Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso, Annie Mac, Chris Moyles vs Judge Jules, Nic Fanciulli, Kissy Sell Out, Count & Sinden, Dave Spoon, Zane Lowe.

We started off our day watching Zane Lowe who played some awesome tracks on the outside stage.

I’m back at uni now. It’d be great if I didn’t have exams. I had my first one today as a matter of fact. It went pretty well I have to say. Considering the Java one last year was awful this years programming (which was c# and software development) went swimmingly.

Its so hot and sunny here today I went to the park after the exam. I planned on revising for my next exam which is Thursday but I only managed to write half a page. I went on the swings instead! I even went on the slide when no one was looking! Except a bewildered family who were probably wondering why a 20 year old was so excited about going on a slide!

I’ve also finished up the last of the homemade pizza I made the last saturday I was home, which means I have no food! I’m gonna get food delivered I think because if I leave the house I’ll never come back for fear of revising!

mmm! We did try to make it round but I’m not very good at rolling out dough! :P It was pepperoni with green peppers and faaar too much cheese!

Well I suppose its back to the old revision. I’m planning on getting Mario Kart Wii next week - if my mate can reserve it for me! :D

Ooo off to the beach on Friday - gonna be awesome!

Incidently add me!? lol its one of Rhys’s latest projects. History

ah twitter the best way to procrastinate!

A few points for today.

1. New layout at my community apricot_13

2. More icons too. Fashion Ones!

3. Rhys has bought shagablogger.com in response to Malin’s comment on twitter. Personally I think it has merit - if done well, although Rhys will probably regret it in the morning - he’s had a few lol.

4. I’m ashamed. I didn’t vote. I know I should but well - there’s no one whose policies I like. One day I’ll find someone to vote for.
