On Thursday there was a mass trip to Ashford for pancakes. There were 14 of us in 3 cars! We arrived just as the main chef was going to leave because he had a headache. We were in there for 2 hours! Poor man :S

It was a proper American diner replica. It was in a big trailer thing. The pancakes I’ll be honest weren’t that nice, but I’m going back for a hotdog!!

After gorging ourselves on pancakes we went to the cinema, cos there were so many of us we saw 3 separate films cos not everyone wanted to see Resident Evil 3 - losers! It was brilliant!

ok I’ll admit it wasn’t as good as Ratatouille which I forgot to mention I saw last week but still it was good!

The driving aggravated my chest so thats now killing again! It was aggravated by the situation i got into when I got home too ;)! lol

wow I’ve never had a social life before so it feels weird not being able to update my site at any time during the week!

I posted a few forum posts about my recent downtime that actually only occurs for me! One of the suggestions was to change to OpenDNS. I’ve looked at it before but my internet at home is quite reliable, unlike my one in Canterbury! *cough*freedom2surf*cough* so I swapped, and as you can see - it worked because I can access my site for the first time in weeks! Its still quite slow though which is irritating but thats something to work on when I have the time!

This week is going to be another busy one I can tell! I’m out every night until Sunday! Annoyingly I can’t drink!

Why can’t I drink? I had a cold the last few weeks which then developed into a cough that I’d had for about a week, the wednesday before last I was getting sharp pains in my chest every time I breathed. I went to the doctors on Friday who said if it got worse go to a&e - and boy did it get worse. I spoke to my parents and my dad was like you have the same symptoms as me go to the hospital! My dad was convinced it was pneumonia. *lesigh*

So I went to a&e in Kent, I walked right past the queue of 20 people and was admitted straight away, WOO for chest pains! The next bit wasn’t quite as fun, I was put in a cubicle where a rather brash woman instructed me to lift up my top, I did at then she whipped my bra up too! I was like WTF! I don’t mind being topless even if there were 3 people in the room, I just didn’t like the fact they kept leaving the cubicle curtain open slightly and it looked into reception!!!

I keep finding the ECG tag things, I found 3 last night! I thought I’d taken them all off after the procedure! Anyway the EGC was all fine - slightly high heart rate but wouldn’t your heart be slightly high if you were stripped 5 minutes after entering a hospital!

I then waited in a cubicle for hours while two medical students about a year older than me poked and prodded me - they were too scared to touch me, they were very polite about everything and we did have a bit of a laugh. Then someone came to take my blood, ripped the needle out so fast it hurt quite a lot for a blood test, I now have a huge bruise and a scratch where she took the needle out. grr

I also had an xray where an old couple thought I was the nurse! After 5 hours of being in hospital I was finally seen by the registrar - it was a pulled muscle! Which is good, but fucking painful and I still don’t know how I’ve done it. He gave me another set of painkillers to go with the ones I already had because they weren’t strong enough. The new ones are - I get high off them! Still hurts when I move though :(.

I kind of wish it had been a chest infection, least then it would have gone in 2/3 days whereas it started getting better after a week on Monday but then I had a coughing fit and the pains right back where I started now :( Still have my cough too :S
