s320×240-11.jpegI have some sad and woeful news, I’m going to be internetless until the 21st! How the hell am I going to survive!?

I’m moving back to uni tomorrow into a nice new house, well the house itself isn’t new but my living in it is. Freshers week will be spent completely wasted so I suppose its a good thing that I wont have internet to come back to at 3am to write sad and embarrassing things for the whole world to see!

I’ve got all my account details from the ISP because knowing me I’d get there wait till the day its activated and wonder why I don’t know the ridiculously complex username!

While I’m away feel free to play over at femgeek.co.uk in the forums, its not just for girls! If you really need me direct message me on twitter.

I hate insects, I hate them, their small, their dirty, they crawl and their crunchy. *shudders* I wont kill any insect though, Its cruel and unnecessary. I just don’t like to touch them, but Sunday night I had no choice!

I was watching CSI in bed at 2:30am and all of a sudden a spider crawled out of my pillow and ran along my bed right next to me, I swear to god I’ve never screamed that much when I’ve seen a spider before! After about five minutes of “omgomgomgomgwhatdoidowhatdoido” I managed to trap the little bugger under my bin. It was about 2″ so not *that* little.

The ONE night I don’t check under my pillows there’s one there. (yes I’m that paranoid) So he’s running around under the bin, which is now weighted down with 100 books in case he’s a body building spider and can lift the bin. I can’t find my bug spray, I usually sleep with it by the bed but we had another incident the day before that required the spray so it was downstairs. He’s trapped though but I don’t want to get back into bed.

I’m thinking what to do, can I be bothered to change the sheets? (my bed has to be clean) I don’t get a chance to answer that question because another one comes out of my bed and it was MUCH bigger, like 4″! It ran around the room a bit taunting me because I have nothing to trap it with or bug spray and I’m not whacking it with anything.

I gave up in the end, I dragged the un-spider touched bits of my bed downstairs and slept in the living room!

It feels very strange being able the blog again without backing up the SQL database after posting. You’d think with all these days off I’d be able to come up with some good blogging material but I’ve failed miserably. In fact I’ve spent most of yesterday and the day before asleep! I have to start going to bed early this week though, I’ll be driving down the Canterbury on Thursday so I might want to be awake for that! I find it useful to be awake whilst driving!

Well I suppose I do have *some* things to talk about.

Firstly if you want an easy $25 and subsequently more money sign up to auction ads their currently doing a promotion that gives all new publishers $25 instantly!

As of last Saturday (the 8th September) it was exactly a month until my 20th birthday. There’s absolutely nothing great about turning 20, trust me, I googled it. Not only am I no longer a reckless teenager so I don’t have that old excuse to fall back on, but I’m considered responsible. I don’t know where the world is coming to if I’m considered responsible! I can’t even look after a cactus without killing it. (I’ve killed 3)

I’ve also had the requests from my parents about what I want for my birthday, My mum even asked me to write a list! Sadly I know I’m getting old when that list consists of things I consider useful. When your young people give you socks and tshirts and you hate them but when your older socks and tshirts is money saved that you can spend getting wasted.

I really can’t think of many things I want. I’ve had an urge to watch the Terminator films recently because I keep missing them when their on TV so I wouldn’t mind the Terminator Trilogy, I do have a huge wishlist, and I really do mean wishlist. In fact all its really there for is for when I get paid I can buy myself something and feel happy! I don’t even think many people know I have one! Its here if your wondering.

Birthdays aside we went to the Garden centre on Saturday to get some plants for the garden. I love looking at the fish they have there, so now I’ve decided I want to get tropical fish again! We used to have them in Singapore. I want lots of tetras and shrimpy things, because their all so fascinating to watch.

We also found what I went there for, my chilli plant! I’ve wanted one for ages. I wanted to grow them from seed but there were some pretty ones already there that I was less likely to kill so we got one of those with a pretty colour co-ordinated plant pot.

Have a polaroid style photo! (isn’t photoshop cool!)
Three of the chillies are ready to eat so I’m going to try them soon! I want to pickle some of them, pickled chilli’s are lovely and I might dry some! I’m not entirely sure which species it is, but I *think* its a prairie fire, I’ve only going off google here mind! They look pretty similar though

Finally though and most excitingly - I’ve finished apricot13.org its now a good little photoblog/portfolio! Tell me what you think! I need to work on whoring myself out a bit more on it but I’m not very good at that, my personal statement was rubbish! Don’t forget to Subscribe!
