For the last 7 years I’ve had knee problems, I was told that if I continued doing Duke of Edinburgh (walking up mountains) I’d end up in a worse state, but I did it, and well yeah, I was in a right state after 3 mountains - but that man was evil so I wanted to do it to prove him wrong.
Last year a sharp pain in my hip added to my problems (chronic headaches over which I have no control being the other major one) it was so painful and spread all down my right leg it quickly got to the point where I had trouble sleeping, even walking on some days because the pain was so bad. Pain killers haven’t worked for me since I lived on nice strong prescribed ones for my headaches a few years ago.
So today I went along today to a nice hospital where I’ve spent far too much time. I have a vivid memory of someone looking up my nose there. I think that was the neurologist but I digress. The surgeon was great and thankfully I don’t need surgery! I’ve had enough bits taken out of me for a lifetime anyway (eyes - dont ask! and my adenoids) Its a muscular problem, but he was concerned I might have some damage to my pelvis so he sent me for an xray anyway.
(I’ve cropped out my ladybits!)
I have excellent hips for childbirth apparently! There was nothing wrong with the joints except for some hypermobility - I was always told I had the opposite. I’ve been referred for more physio.
It always amazes me how fast xrays are, they fascinate me. I don’t think the heath insurance people are going to be pleased that this first consult resulted in an xray, hehe, serves them right for being bastards when my dad got pneumonia.
If I’d done all this on the NHS I don’t think I’d be blogging any of this for months! *yay* for private health care!

but anyway I shall stop there!
