Since the Star Wars exhibition life has been pretty damn boring! I’ve done nothing. When you have exams or things to do you always manage to find something to entertain yourself with, but sods law dictates the minute you haven’t a care in the world, your bored silly. Hopefully the fact I’m going to Canada on Sunday will make the next two weeks more interesting!

I have a new layout - finally! Its the third or fourth layout I’ve made over the past few days. For some reason I can just make complete layouts in a few hours, then hate it and make another one! This one still has a few kinks, I need to validate it, It amazes me how fixated people are on validation these days, a W3C valid site is not necessarily a good site of course one has to use valid markup, which I do, but as long as it works on all browsers, uses ALT codes and image markers for accessability purposes then your site is fine. Now stop bitching about it being non valid OK!

I also plan on having changeable stylesheets because I already don’t like this colour! I’ve made a start by getting rid of my 6 different stylesheets and putting them in one now I need to work out how to do it :S! I also want ‘asides’ but again I need to work out how to do that. I’m seeing this as an opportunity to waste my time on some PHP. I understand what I have to do, its just doing it! And a horrible horrible thought - My sites turning into Jem’s Its out of love and admiration though my dear

Any suggestions for a new game for Canada btw? I’m very fussy though. I’m thinking mario 64 DS?! I still havn’t completed the original one mind…:S!

Phew! I’ve been so busy the last week I’ve hardly had time to sit down! I finished my last exam on monday morning, an hour before everyone else. After the exam we all went into town to a costume shop for wednesday, the plan for the night was to go to the works, a nightclub but they all decided not to go, I went anyway with some other mates. I was pretty drunk, which meant the next day I was mightily hungover! I somehow managed to get into town to go shopping for the next night out, and by about 6oclock I was feeling fine and went to see POTC3! I’ll tell you what I think when I’ve watched the other two again!

Wednesday was my mates birthday during the day we took a road trip ice skating, which was pretty fun! Especially as we stopped off at KFC on the way! I was pretty appalling at ice skating but I did have a good teacher. The main even of wednesday was the Gaming themed pub crawl! We looked mightily stupid getting on a bus! Photos are here. I went as a yellow pikmin. Oh and I dyed my hair on tueday, blonde highlights :D!

I had bunches for ears too but you can’t see them in that photo!

Thursday I returned home from Canterbury land and on Friday I went up to London to the Star Wars, the Exibition! More photos here.

It was pretty exciting, there were movies on all the special effects which I made a point of watching, afterall that is what I want to do! The models were all so realisting I was terrified they’d suddenly move! All the rooms were really dark too which added to the terrifyingness of it all!

Yesterday was Artsfest - I’d been looking forward to it for sometime but I have to say - it was slightly disappointing. I went out and found some people at 2 when it started. There was a live band through out the day which would have been better had they turned the microphone volume up and not the music! We basically just spend the whole day (2-11) sitting on the grass getting steadily more sunburnt and wasted!

To be honest nothing much really happened throughout the day - like I said we all sat around getting wasted!

The classic photographers cheat of ‘call someones name and when they turn around take their photo’ failed miserably on this one!

So the day wore on - I went back at 7 had a quick nap and some dinner then went back to our little spot. By this point everyone was so wasted the photos got progressively more terrible!
